This 146 was delivered new to East-West in Australia in September 1990 and was passed to Ansett New Zealand in July 1992. When Ansett failed a new start-up airline, Origin took over the aircraft and from there the aircraft flew under the QANTAS and Air New Zealand banners. The Air NZ tenure lasted from June 2001 until Jan 2002. It was returned to the Ansett administrators in Melbourne and scrapped in August 2007.
