Air New Zealand was a prolific user of early 737’s with a total of 21 of the -300 version serving with them. This aircraft was delivered new on lease from GECAS in January 1998. It was painted in this special livery for the year 2000 millennium celebrations. Air NZ kept it until 2005. Since then it has flown with several other airlines and as of April 2021 it is now in storage in Armenia.
